6 Highest Rated Activities for Families

While Las Vegas is mostly famous for gambling, drinking, and other forms of debauchery, there are a surprising number of Las Vegas family attractions to enjoy. This list of the six best family-friendly experiences will help you find something that tourists of all ages can enjoy.

1: Lost Games Escape Room

Our favorite Las Vegas family attraction by a large margin is the escape room experience at Lost Games. While it has realistic movie quality sets and immersive interactive theatre elements, there are no jump scares, stressful situations, or physically demanding tasks. Children of any age are welcome in these escape rooms, but Lost Games recommends the experience for children who are at least ten because of challenging puzzles.

Lost Games puts you in a private experience filled with interactive, high-tech puzzles that need teamwork and brainpower to solve to escape from the room within 60 minutes. Your family will interact with hand-made props and clues to solve a series of unique puzzles that will help you find a way out. Of course, since it is only a game, you and your kids are free to leave early.

2: The Adventuredome

You can find thrills for all ages in the Adventuredome indoor park. Circus Circus has over five acres of roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and exhilarating amusement park rides, making it easy for guests of all ages to find something they like. Your family can pay per ride or choose to buy an all-day pass so you can ride to your heart’s content.

The Adventuredome also offers other Las Vegas family attractions in its neon-lit space. In addition to free circus performances, your kids can enjoy activities such as bowling, rock climbing, laser tag, midway games, and mini-golf. During October, it changes into the Fright Dome and includes multiple haunted house experiences.

3: Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

If your family members are fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they will love the interactive and educational Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N on Treasure Island. Children of any age can become official agents in training with their own badges.

You and your loved ones can take your time exploring exhibits with authentic costumes and props from the Avengers movies. Highlights include Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, and the full collection of Iron Man’s suits. When you are done exploring the science and history behind these popular heroes, you can find a souvenir in the 80,000 square foot retail store.

4: Tournament of Kings

The Excalibur Hotel and Casino is home to one of the best dinner and show experiences. This live-action performance features knights from the court of King Arthur jousting and dueling in a massive arena while you enjoy your food. Sparks fly from swords, and knights fly from their horses in this impressive display.

Your children will enjoy cheering for the knight that represents their section as he battles his way through impressively choreographed fights. They will also enjoy tearing into a cornish game hen and other hearty treats with their bare hands, after washing them, of course.

5: Neon Museum

The Neon Museum is an exhibit founded in 1996 that showcases old neon marquees and signs from historic Las Vegas casinos such as El Cortez, Stardust, and the Silver Slipper. You can peruse these restored artifacts in a walking tour across two acres of land. They also include guest exhibits from architects like Paul Revere Williams or artists such as Tim Burton.

This museum is open for tours during the day or night, making it easy to fit in with your other plans. At night, the museum puts on an exciting light, music, and video display to bring the aging signs back to life. It even has a mobile application that lets you explore over 20 exhibits digitally without setting foot in the museum.

6: Aquariums

The Las Vegas Strip offers numerous chances for you and your kids to enjoy watching exotic animals. The Boulevard Mall has the Seaquest Interactive Aquarium with animals from around the globe. It houses exotic birds, reptiles, and sea life. There are also animal touch tanks so your children can get up close and personal with marine life.

Another option for aquatic animal lovers is the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, which has 14 shark habitats housing over 2,000 animals. An innovative shipwreck display gives you a 360-degree view of sharks and fish and includes an underwater tunnel to watch sharks go above you as well.

Call Lost Games to let your family experience the most immersive escape room experience in Las Vegas.
